EFG stands for edible forest garden. This is a method of gardening that tries to mimic how the forest grows. There is a great deal of hoslistic thinking involved.
For example, a nut tree is not considered in isolation, but with a poly-culture of plants, each supporting each other and providing one or more functions for the garden.
